Handyman Turned Entrepreneur Builds Nationwide Network to Solve the Age Old Problem "How do I Assemble the Furniture I Bought at the Store?" Columbus, Ohio - - - March 9, 2006 - - - What started out as one man assembling furniture for people in his spare time, has grown to a network of 55 members in 33 states. "Assemble 4 You" is not a franchise or a get rich quick scheme. The network is simply an independent group of professionals who refer customers to each other when the customer is outside of their own area. "Assemble 4 You" was created in 2001 when the Founder, Mike Mehrle, began receiving inquiries for work in many different areas of the country. Mr. Mehrle said "I figured that if I was going to refer customers to others, I should look into forming an association so that we could form protected territories and to ensure that I would be referred to customers in my own area." Although most people hate assembling shelves, desks and other furniture, the few people that enjoy this work may have the opportunity to make some extra money. Mike Mehrle estimates that there is room for about 500 more assemblers to join the network in the United States. Although there has been a lot of interest from assemblers outside the U.S. none have joined the network yet. Some assemblers work full time, others work part time just to supplement their existing income. Some of the more successful installers have a number of employees. To join the network, members pay only a small fee once a year. The network provides on-site service in the home or office, for those who are assembly challenged or don't have the tools, time, patience or experience for taking on an all-day project. Ready To Assemble furniture is a multi-billion-dollar industry that now has support from a new network filling a void.
